Tom Tom's family, friends, and community of supporters are seeking to:
Innocence Project volunteer and forensic journalist, David Ignell thoroughly researched Tom Tom’s case and wrote a 60-page detailed report based on his review of several volumes of court files and two boxes of documents provided to him by Tom Tom’s family. David analyzed thousands of pages of trial and grand jury transcripts, law enforcement and State agency records, interviews, court pleadings, orders and correspondence. He also spoke to several Hoonah friends who had known Tom Tom most of his life and believed he was innocent. This webpage includes the summary of that report, and six articles written about the injustice Tom Tom experienced. To read David's finding the files are attached at the bottom of this page.
A community discussions and advocacy is happening throughout Alaska. The Talk of the Kenai podcast recently hosted David Ignell, Forensic Journalist to discuss Alaska Judicial issues related to Tom Tom's case.
